SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — Seasonal workers are needed for the San Diego County Fair, which returns this summer to the Del Mar Fairgrounds.
A variety of jobs are available, including positions as administrative assistants, ambassadors, exhibition attendants, janitors, parking attendants, plumbers, receptionists, ticket attendants, traffic controllers , unarmed security guards, etc.
“We couldn’t run the San Diego County Fair without our seasonal employees. They are an integral part of the exceptional customer experience we are known for,” said Carlene Moore, CEO of Del Mar Fairgrounds. “The San Diegans come to the fair to have fun and leave with treasured and lasting memories of their time here. We are looking for team players to help create this positive and meaningful customer experience.”
All seasonal jobs are paid above the current minimum wage and are eligible for overtime. Employees receive four free admission tickets and additional discounts. Positions in critical operations will receive a stipend of $500 per person upon successful completion of their assigned schedule.
The 21-day fair will be open June 8 through July 4 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. It will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays in June.
